The NBA awards show was last night and the most anticipated and talked about award was the NBA MVP. The finalist were Oklahoma City Thunder’s Russell Westbrook, Houston Rockets’ James Harden, and San Antonio Spurs’ Kawhi Leonard. But the real race was between Westbrook and Harden. And Russell Westbrook won. Well deserved award. Some people will probably argue that Harden should have won because his team beat Westbrook’s team head-to-head in the playoffs. But Westbrook averaged a triple-double during the regular season and pretty much single-handedly led the Thunder to the playoffs because Kevin Durant left to join the Golden State Warriors.
